I tried to put hostname only could not install.
printer support also tried to install only was unsuccessful.
windows 10 still new which will require some fixes

I am having the same issue with windows x and calculation a network printer. This brother printer is visable but when I click to add it, I get a bulletin proverb this didnt work, and an mistake message of 1722.
I am at a loss. It was working just fine before I upgraded my two computers from viii.ane to ten this weekend.

I would suggest y'all to visit the Printer manufacturer'south support website and download drivers for Windows 10.
If you are unable to find the drivers for Windows 10, you lot may try to install the drivers in compatibility mode with Windows 8.1.
Firstly download the driver from your computer'southward manufacturer website and then install it.
Refer (Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows)

same issue with my cannon worked fine before I have all the drivers installed now what

Hello,
Printer does work as local printer fine, only every bit a Network printer it is not detected.
In that location is appears to be problem with wIndows ten networking and detection of printer.
