How To Close Pandora App On Android
-
Galaxy s4 active
When I go to close pandora, the music continues to play even after the app is closed and and recent apps are cleared. The only way to stop the music is to reopen the app and pause the music, then close the app.
If everything is closed and phone locks, it just goes to the next song and on and on.
How can I assure the app is closed and data is not being consumed ( I have AT&T : s. ). I came from iPhone, still learning.
Please let me know if I can give more detail as I know this is rather vague.

Possible solution - Open Pandora, click the 3 radio buttons top right then select "quit" - works for me. Whenever i get into my car the Pandora app always began playing once identified.

^^^ this.
I had issues too until I figured out to quit every time. The 3 radio buttons are on the screen with the list of stations, so you have to back out to there every time.

No sure if you ever got a solution but I think I have one: Hold down the home button. That will take you to your open programs. On the left bottom, there is an icon that looks like a pie chart. Select it and you will see your "Active Applications". You will have the option to end all or end each individual task. It really works.

Whats up guys, how are you there today!
Its real simple!
When you see something you don't like, such as your neighbor playing with himself, what do you do?? Roll down your curtain, hold the Pandora notification until the "App info" window pops up and you click on it, then click "Force Stop".
Too bad you cant use this in real life, but hey! you can use it to close your Pandora App when the music doesn't go away.07-01-2014 09:54 PM

Not anymore.
Apparently they have updated and made the app less friendly.
I came here hoping that it was just me
But apparently it's just another pooch screwing by a company that couldn't leave well enough alone02-27-2016 10:25 AM
